Hey everyone! Welcome to my Week 1 blog post where I'm sharing some initial research on a mix of exciting web topics. This week, I explored NFT marketplaces, a unique auction platform called BESSE, eco-friendly websites, and even dipped into React for frontend development. These areas highlight how technology intersects with digital assets, sustainability, and interactive web apps. I'll break it down section by section based on the screenshots and notes from my research dives. Let's jump in!
NFT Marketplaces: The Digital Art and Collectibles Hub
NFTs (Non-Fungible Tokens) continue to be a hot topic in the web3 space, representing unique digital ownership of art, music, and more. From my research, I looked at three popular platforms, each with its own vibe and focus.

Magic Eden: This site stands out for its Solana blockchain integration, making transactions faster and cheaper than Ethereum-based alternatives. The homepage features real-time charts showing market trends, like a graph of trading volume and floor prices. Highlighted collections include "Lucky CryptoPunks" with stats such as 2.7k PTL floor price and a -0.5% change. It also lists top offers, sales, and collections like "Harry Potter" and "SBT Backpack." If you're into gaming or quick trades, this feels like a go-to for Solana enthusiasts.

OpenSea: As one of the OG NFT marketplaces, OpenSea supports multiple blockchains but shines on Ethereum. The screenshot shows trending collections like "QQL" by Tyler Hobbs, with floor prices around 0.3 ETH and details on owners and volume (e.g., 300 ETH total). It has a clean search bar and categories for art, collectibles, and more. Perfect for beginners exploring a wide variety of NFTs, from generative art to virtual real estate.
Blur: This platform emphasizes pro trading tools for NFTs. The research image highlights the "Azuki" collection, featuring anime-style characters with floor prices like 1.07 ETH and listings for items such as "Azuki Prime." It includes a "View Collection" button and stats on volume (e.g., +3.5%). Blur seems geared toward high-volume traders with features like batch bidding and portfolio tracking.

These sites show how NFTs have evolved into sophisticated marketplaces, blending e-commerce with blockchain tech. If you're new, start with OpenSea for its user-friendliness, but check out Magic Eden for lower fees.
Exploring BESSE: A Blockchain-Powered Auction Platform
Next up, I researched "Study BESSE" on https://iesp.io/, which appears to be an innovative platform for live auctions using blockchain. The interface lists ongoing auctions in a table format, focusing on "Dutch" auction types (where prices start high and decrease over time).

The site emphasizes "Most popular live auctions at a glance" and integrates with crypto wallets. There's a sidebar guide titled "Getting Started" with steps like:

Installing MetaMask and setting up a wallet.
Registering an account.
Creating an auction.
Bidding on auctions.
