FYP Week 2: Exploring UI/UX Design Insights from Research

Welcome back to my blog series! This week, I’m diving into the world of UI/UX design, focusing on the user interface and experience elements highlighted in my latest research. Based on the screenshots provided, I’ve analyzed color schemes, styles, fonts, and dashboard layouts to understand how they shape digital interactions. Let’s break it down!

Color
Eco-friendly. We will use green and woody colors for main theme color

Style
An intuitive UI is essential to providing the best user experience. We will design with the user in mind, so that the user can easily interact with the platform.

Minimalism will be the main style of us, a set of essential elements on a website without adding unnecessary details to let students easily interact with. Students will not be distracted by design and more easily perceive the content.

Fonts
We will use Elegante for our font. As a sustainable font for eco-friendly, Elegante takes the ink-saving route. This unique, decorative serif font uses only thin outlines to make each letter. By using the “saving ink usage” for people to remember to be eco-friendly.
